The question this engagement answers

Your dashboard shows a break in the journey. It does not tell you whether the cause is a hesitant user, a missing event, an accidental re-entry, a payment state, or a segment hidden by the average. We establish which explanation the evidence supports.

This work suits a product, growth or analytics team with a defined journey and enough event history to inspect. It is particularly useful before a redesign, after a release changes conversion, or when two reports disagree.

What is included

  1. Scope and access session. We agree the entry event, successful outcome, eligible population, platforms, release windows and known tracking caveats.
  2. Instrumentation reconciliation. Event names, properties, timestamps, identity stitching and duplicate behaviour are checked against the implementation notes and observed journey.
  3. Path and cohort analysis. We measure ordered steps, time between steps, retries, exits and return behaviour. Segments are chosen for a reason—not mined until an attractive result appears.
  4. Friction review. Product copy, validation, consent, payment states and hand-offs are considered alongside the event trail.
  5. Findings workshop. A 90-minute working session separates corrections, product questions and testable hypotheses.

You receive a findings book, query appendix, corrected funnel definition and a prioritised action register. We do not ship instrumentation code, run user research or promise a conversion uplift; those require separate owners and evidence.

What we need from you

Provide read-only analytics access, the current tracking plan, release notes for the period, screen recordings or build access, and one product and one analytics contact. Personal customer data is neither requested nor accepted. Where production access is unsuitable, your team can run supplied queries and return aggregated results.

Boundaries and confidence

The investigation covers one principal journey, up to two platforms and up to six purposeful cohort cuts. Findings state the observation window and material limitations. If the event record cannot support a conclusion, we say so and specify the repair needed before analysis resumes.

Booking and payment

Fees start at £6,800 plus VAT. Half is invoiced to reserve the start date and the balance follows the findings workshop. Broader cross-device journeys or additional storefronts are estimated after the fit call. Typical lead time is two to four weeks.
